In the World Bank-funded project, Danson supported the Phu Ly Project Management Unit by providing consulting services for planning and implementing a comprehensive communication campaign for all project activities. The objective of the consulting work was to help develop an educational and community communication model for local specialized staff to apply in their professional tasks as project areas transition to city status.

After conducting sociological surveys on awareness and behavior, Danson designed communication activities aimed at changing attitudes, behaviors, and lifestyles among local residents and government officials during the city’s urbanization process. Danson implemented a continuous communication plan across multiple channels/media, targeting a broad audience, from urban districts to villages where water and sanitation issues emerged as primary concerns. The seamless coordination between the consulting firm and the Project Management Unit also engaged television and radio channels, as well as provincial press agencies. Mid-term and end-term surveys were conducted to monitor the effectiveness of the activities and make adjustments as necessary.
